7/24/08 - We just got back from Pittsburg a few days ago and we had a great trip. I placed 5th in my class at the Masters National Championships. It was a GREAT show. I am so happy to be in the top 5 once again at a national level show. Now I start prepping for the North American Championships the last weekend in August. Don't worry, I have had some good food this week and fed some cravings but it is time to get back to work. Jim and I have set up a new strategy for the next two shows so hopefully my physique will be more in line with what they are looking for. Stay tuned because the next 6 weeks will be fun.

7/15/08 - This is my final week of prep before the Masters Nationals in Pittsburg. I think that I am going to bring my best package yet to the stage. My training and diet have gone very well and I am so excited to compete.

I got some great news yesterday. I am featured in the " Are you Next" segment of the September issue of Oxygen magazine. I was thrilled to be featured in this great magazine. Also, there is a small picture and acknowledgement of my Overall victory in the Masters division from the NPC Pittsburg show in this months Flex magazine. It is such a rush to see my picture in these bigtime magazines. Thanks to both publications.

5/27/08 - It is has been a little over a week since the Jr. USA show and our lives are finally getting back to some sort of normalcy. The Jr USA was GREAT!!!!!! I finished 3rd in Class E. I was so excited. This is only my second national level show so finishing third with this quality of a line up is a big accomplishment for me. All the hard work that Jim and I have done since last fall paid off. Now it is time to get ready for the Masters Nationals in Pittsburg on July 18th and 19th. I can't wait!

My goal for this year was to get my name and face out there and to make the top 10 in my class at one of these national level shows. It looks like I have already accomplished both goals. Now it is time to go win my class and seriously chase that pro card. Wish me LUCK.

5/7/08 - The Pittsburg show was a BLAST!!! I won my class and the overall in the Masters portion of the show. I also finished third in my class in the open. I am thrilled. We had a great time in Pittsburg. It was by far the best show that I have ever attended. There were pro bodybuilders and pro figure girls everywhere you looked. I had the opportunity to meet several of the pro figure competitors and they were all very nice and cordial. Overall it was a wonderful weekend. Now it is on to the Jr. USA's on the 17th. Wish me luck!

4/29/08 - Well it is almost showtime!!!! I will be leaving for Pittsburg on Friday to compete in the NPC Pittsburg show on Saturday. I have been very busy with my prep for this show and work. My prep has gone very well for this show. I feel that I will be in the best shape of my life on Saturday. The I will have two more weeks to tweak things before the Jr. USA. Wish me luck!!!

4/02/08 - It looks like I am going to add an additional figure show to my schedule. I have decided to compete in the NPC Pittsburg on May 3rd. They also hold a professional figure show at this contest so it will give me a chance to meet some pro competitors and get before some national level judges before the national level shows begin. I am really excited. I am ready to compete again. If you are going to compete in or attend this show look me up I would love to meet you.

3/31/08 - Another week of training and everything looks really good. I have another photoshoot lined up With Tom Nine Photography for the day after the Jr. USA so be expecting alot new photos after the show. Today is mine and Jim's 7th wedding anniversary. We had a very good weekend and a couple of celebration meals. We will celebrate by training Shoulders and Bi's later today. Sounds romantic huh?
